Very high tread count racing tubular constructed with either cotton of silk casing. A contemporary tread utilizes Kevlar® SiO2, a compound with a high silica (SiO2) content developed by Vittoria. The tread also contains microscopic Kevlar® fibers, making it the state of the art compound for tires offering both high grip, even on wet roads, low rolling resistance and good mileage. Constructed with a latex inner tube to further reduce rolling resistance and increase comfort. Great stage race / everyday high performance tire. Available 700 x 22 cotton casing / 700 x 25 cotton casing / 700 x 22 silk casing / 700 x 25 silk casing. black gum sidewall.

The supple cotton carcass has additional reinforcing, Francois describes it as “ a special tape that helps prevent, tears and cuts caused by the edges of the cobble stones”
