I recently laced a three year old Rohlhoff into a new rim for a local customer.

The hub in his recollection has done at least eighteen thousand miles, The cycle is used day in and day out thirty to forty miles a day five days a week and then cycle touring holidays in Europe.

The hub was being laced into the Rigida. Andra 30  one of the rims on the Rohlhoff approved list, using Sapim strong spokes

I must admit Im not a material person but when I handled this hub and spoke at length with the customer he convinced me I must have one. his words were go anywhere do anything with peace of mind.

The overall quality of the hub sings ruggedness and reliability and any issues he could have had with the hub were prvented with good maintainance (looking after his investment)
